Last year when those kids in Norway were killed there were early reports that the perpetrators where Muslims. I remember how quickly and unselfconsciously the conversation went from “What is it about their evil culture that causes such violence?” to “Oh, a crazy person did it.” when it turned out that the killer was a white guy.
